What is Strength of Titanium Alloys
Ultimate tensile strength of Ti-6Al-4V – Grade 5 titanium alloy is about 1170 MPa. Titanium is a lustrous transition metal with a silver color, low density, and high strength. Titanium is resistant to corrosion in sea water, aqua regia, and chlorine. In power plants, titanium can be used in surface condensers.
